Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:- Your Sisense base URL (e.g.
https://your-instance.sisense.com). - A service account username and password with read access (see below).
Set up a service account
Create a dedicated Sisense user for Modus with read access to the content it should use as context:- Folders and dashboards
- Dashboard widgets
- Data models, tables, columns, and relationships
Network access
If your Sisense instance is self-hosted or behind a firewall, allow Modus’s egress IP addresses so it can reach it. See IP Allowlisting.Connect in Modus

Open the Sisense connection form
- Log into Modus.
- Click Integrations in the left sidebar.
- Find the Sisense card under BI & Visualization and click Connect.

Fill in the connection details
Complete the form using the field reference below.

Test and save
- Click Test Connection to verify Modus can reach your instance.
- Click Save Connection.

Verification
Your Sisense instance is now connected. Modus turns your folders, dashboards, widgets, and data models into context so Modus can give accurate, data-aware answers. Need help? Contact us at support@getmodus.com.Modus connects read-only and requests only the minimum access needed to
