# memories

> Long-term memory stored per scope.

## Constructor

```typescript
memories(http: HttpClient, config: ModusConfig, scopeId: string | number): ScopeMemoriesResource
```

## Methods

### delete()

```

Delete one memory (idempotent).

#### Parameters

### list()

```typescript
list(options?: { pageSize: number; pageToken: string; userId: string }): Promise<Page<object>>
```

List memories stored for this scope.

#### Parameters

#### Returns

`Promise<Page<object>>`

A page of memories.

### search()

search(request: object): Promise<object>
```

Search this scope's memories by natural-language query.

#### Parameters

  Query text and optional `userId` / `limit`.
</ResponseField>

#### Returns

`Promise<object>`

Matching memories and relevance scores.

### update()

```typescript
update(memoryId: string, update: object, options?: { updateMask: string }): Promise<object>
```

Update one memory. Requires manage permission on the scope.

#### Parameters

  Id from list or search.
</ResponseField>

  Fields to change (`memory` and/or `metadata`).
</ResponseField>
