# Notion

> Connect Notion to Modus so your scopes have context from your pages and databases.

Connect Notion so your pages, databases, and blocks become context that Modus
can reason over. Notion connects over **OAuth** — see
[Connecting apps](/guides/connect-apps) for the general flow.

## Who can connect

Any workspace **member or owner** can connect, and Modus only accesses the pages
you explicitly share with it. On the **Enterprise** plan, workspace owners can
restrict connections to an approved list — a **workspace owner** then approves
Modus.

## Connect

<Steps>
  <Step title="Start the connection">
    In [Modus](https://app.getmodus.com), go to **Integrations**, find **Notion**
    under **Knowledge**, and click **Connect**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Authorize in Notion">
    Sign in to Notion and choose which **pages** or workspace to share with Modus
    on Notion's consent screen.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose pages">
    Back in Modus, select the **pages** Modus should use as context.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## What Modus can access

Modus reads only the Notion content you share — pages, blocks, and databases.
Notion grants access at the page level based on what you select when authorizing.

This is a **workspace** connection shared across your Modus organization.
