# ClickUp

> Connect ClickUp to Modus so your scopes have context from your tasks and docs.

Connect ClickUp so your spaces, tasks, and comments become context that Modus
can reason over. ClickUp connects over **OAuth** — see
[Connecting apps](/guides/connect-apps) for the general flow.

## Who can connect

Connect as a user with access to the ClickUp **Workspaces** you want Modus to
use — the connection inherits that user's permissions, and you choose which
Workspaces to authorize during sign-in.

    In [Modus](https://app.getmodus.com), go to **Integrations**, find **ClickUp**
    under **Task Management**, and click **Connect**.

    Sign in to ClickUp and authorize the workspace in the popup. That's it — there's
    no extra scoping step.

## What Modus can access

Modus reads your ClickUp spaces, folders, lists, tasks, comments, and members from
the authorized workspace.

This is a **workspace** connection shared across your Modus organization.
